Casa Centenario

This home dates back to the beginning of Finca Lerida’s story and what is now a part of our boutique hotel. This house was designed and built back in 1908, by the founder Tollef B. Monniche, taking 10 years of hand labor to build. Here, after years of engineering work on the auxiliary locks for the Panama Canal, Tollef and his wife Julia finally resided, where the beginning of their new chapter working in the coffee trade was born.
Truly immerse yourself in the essence of Finca Lerida’s history by choosing to stay here in this one-of-a-kind experience.
This historic home contains a cozy living room complete with a chimney, dining room, library, two rooms on the first floor, and one room on the second floor with an en-suite bathroom. Accommodates up to 6 people.

I highly recommend staying at this coffee farm when visiting boquete. They do amazing work and the coffee is amazing. I also recommend the restaurant. Cesar was our tour guide and was fun, and very friendly and knowledgeable. They also have lovely accommodations to stay. Eco tourism at its best!
Wish we would have stayed for more

We stayed for 2 nights and wish we would have stayed for more. It’s a beautiful property. The breakfast was always delicious. My husband and I sat on the balcony of the restaurant and our kiddos were able to play and run around in the little outside valley while we waited for our food. We had top notch service. We also went on the coffee tour which I highly recommend you do. Lovely place. Great for a family but also wonderful for an adult getaway.
Fantastic two-night stay

We had a fantastic two-night stay. The coffee tour is a must-do and was super informative. Even having toured plantations in other countries, I learned a lot and the tasting was great. The food at the restaurant was delicious and all of the staff went above and beyond to assist. The rooms are well-appointed and very comfortable. Though they don’t have a heating source, the staff will light a fire if you ask for help.
